The
7th grade Concert Band
is a continuation of last year's 6th grade bands. The band
is made up of students from both our beginning classes and
the advanced 6th grade Mustang Band. This group
meets
every day
for the entire year. Home practice is a very important part
of being a 7th grade musician. Students become much more
skilled at technical aspects of their instruments as well
as working together to produce a more mature full-band
sound. The Concert Band will perform
three concerts
during the school year.

What method book will we be
using for 2009-2010?
We will use the Superior Band’s in 16 Weeks
book.

Where can I purchase
it?
You will purchase this book from the school ($10.00). The
music stores do not carry this book.
What will I wear to Concerts?
Students will
wear their CMS Band Polo Shirt and Khaki pants. You can
order a shirt in September (order form will be sent home)
if you don’t have one at this time.
